If you've gone looking for bgood lately and come up empty, you're not imagining it. The longtime Denver-area dispensary has closed, its website and social accounts are down, and its stores are no longer operating under the bgood name. The short version: bgood is done, and its Englewood location at Broadway and Hampden has reopened as Gardens Dispensary Englewood.
Here's the full picture, plus where to go if bgood was your shop.
bgood has shut down. The company behind it no longer exists, the website and social media have gone dark, and all of its dispensary locations have closed. Last month, the Englewood store was acquired by Gardens Dispensary, which now runs it under its own name. So while the bgood brand is gone, the Englewood shop itself is still open, just with a new sign on the door and a new team behind the counter.
If you had a bgood account, rewards points, or a go-to product line, those went with the brand. But the physical store on Hampden is still there and still selling cannabis, now as Gardens Dispensary Englewood.
bgood was a Denver original. It opened in 2009, back in Colorado's early medical era, and built its name the slow way, on product quality and regulars who kept coming back. The shop grew its own cannabis, including an award-winning hydroponic line known as Lama Brand Cannabis, and earned a loyal following for its edibles and its concentrate selection.
It also had a personality. The West Wash Park location was famously low-key, a neighborhood spot with no green cross and no sign out front, the kind of place you had to already know about to find. Over the years bgood became a familiar name across the metro, the sort of independent shop a lot of Denver consumers grew up on.
At its peak, bgood ran several stores around the Denver area: Northglenn, Federal Heights, West Wash Park, and Englewood.
The West Wash Park shop, the quiet medical store near the park, had already closed before the rest of the company wound down. The Northglenn location on Cherokee Street and the Federal Heights store have since closed as well. None of the original bgood stores are still operating under the bgood name today.
The one exception is Englewood. That store didn't close. It changed hands.
The former bgood Englewood shop at 11 W Hampden Ave, right at Broadway and Hampden in the heart of Downtown Englewood, is now Gardens Dispensary Englewood. Same address, same easy free parking in the lot across Broadway, same convenient spot just one block off US-285. What's changed is the menu and the team.
Gardens Dispensary Englewood is a recreational dispensary, open to anyone 21 or older with a valid ID. The shelves carry flower, pre-rolls, THC edibles, concentrates, and vape carts, with brands like Wyld, Green Dot, Jeeter, and 710 Labs in regular rotation. You can browse the full menu online and pick up in store. If you were a bgood regular, the location will feel familiar, and the budtenders are happy to help you find your new go-to.
The Englewood store marks Gardens Dispensary's move into South Denver, and it's an easy stop whether you're a former bgood customer, a Downtown Englewood local, or just passing through the area. If bgood was your shop, come see what's new at the address you already know.
